shortly after we finished recording v1 (the original ukulele version!) my producer Raihan (who's backing me up in this iteration with some sick harmonies!) came back to me, apropos of nothing, with this glittering thing, polished and turned into absolute magic because he just liked the song that much. I was, to say the least, shocked out of my mind and incredibly humbled to see a piece of my heart receive so much love and consideration. I recognised it as the song I wrote almost a year ago and at the same time it seemed to me a completely different song and experience. I have been sitting on v2 for the longest time, unable to wait another minute because I sorely, dearly wanted to share it with you.
